Bet types can be settled very differently depending both on the type and the number of selections.
Straight Bets

If your selection wins, you receive the winnings and your wager back as returns.

Parlay

If every selection wins, your bet wins.

If a selection is settled as deemed no action, your bet is settled on the remaining selections.
